I must say, I feel very at home in the kitchen but I always feel a bit insecure when it comes to knife skills. I haven’t done any major damage, but I could certainly use some help, so I was super excited when I read about Brooklyn Kitchen. Located in Williamsburg, they sell both new and vintage kitchenware and they have classes like basic knife skills class, all at a very reasonable price (a mere $25 for the knife class!). Another notable class, pig butchering, where the instructor cuts apart a pig in the class and then you get to take some home. Awesome!
