brooklyn flea

Oh boy! I’ve been looking forward to the Brooklyn Flea ever since it was announced last year. The day finally arrived and although the weather was a bit colder than expected, lots of people showed up to see what it was all about. I felt like a kid in a candy store… there were so many things to see I could hardly focus on one thing at a time. Lucky for me, I had Aaron to keep me on track. It was so incredibly cool to walk around and be surrounded by so many creative people doing really amazing things.

My favorite booths were Saipua & Lena Corwin. I picked up some beautifully packaged soap that smells soooo good. The bad part is the package is so pretty I don’t want to open it. Hehe. I also picked up a plate from Lena Corwin that I’ve been admiring for sometime now as well as her latest seasonal print that’s a collaboration with Port2Port Press. It’s very, very lovely.

Ahhh, just another reason to love Brooklyn.

Thank you for sharing your outing at the Brooklyn Flea! I really wanted to go but was a bit scared of the opening day crowd and decided to reserve my visit for next weekend. Thanks for letting me visit through you!

Also, Stacy and I ventured to the new kitchen shop in Williamsburg that you just wrote about. If you haven’t been yet – it’s a must. Everything feels hand picked and all the items are mixed with mid-century antiques. My new fav kitchen spot. Thank you!!!

Hi Jane! Hopefully the weather will be a bit better next weekend. I’m looking forward to more visits throughout the summer.

I’m so jealous that you went to the kitchen store! I need to get over there asap. It sounds so dreamy.
