Another highlight at the Brooklyn Flea was meeting the women behind Salvatore Bklyn, the rockstar ricotta cheese makers. I’d read about them in Edible, and of course I’ve been wanting to try it, but I just haven’t been in the right place at the right time until now. They had free tastes at the Flea and once it hit our tongues, both Aaron and I were sold. The cheese is nice and creamy with a little bit of texture. The flavor is rich without being overbearing and works like a charm with fresh fruit. Stay tuned to see my delicious fruity dessert I paired it with. Mmmmmm.
