This happy hour happened to land on Good Friday, and while I’m not particularly religious, I am willing to make a tasty drink to celebrate just about any occasion. With a holiday with such a classy name, I thought I’d pull out one of my favorite standbys, the margarita, and jazz it up a bit with one of my favorite fruits, the blood orange. I basically just replaced the lime juice that you usually use with fresh squeezed blood orange juice. Mix it up with some tequila and Cointreau and of course don’t forget to salt the rim. Soon enough you’ll be enjoying one heck of a Good Friday. It’s a super tasty take on an already tasty beverage.
Cheers! Have a great weekend!

Wow, I love margaritas as it is, but these margaritas sound fabulous! Blood orange is one of my favorite citrus flavors. I can’t wait to try this out. Thank goodness it’s Friday; I need a drink!
