Oh how they're growing up! Nine of my fiftish seeds are still kicking so I decided to treat them to a bigger and better space. I'd been saving big tomato cans to house them once they reached the right size. I labeled each can so I could remember which plant was which and then filled each with nice fresh soil. I just plucked the little pellet of dirt from the tray and plopped it into the can, making sure that each was nestled in the soil. Now I'm focusing on giving on giving lots of TLC to my strong seeds. I have a good feeling about these little fellows.

I have already killed one rose bush by planting too early… not deterred i just planted rhubarb and am breathlessly awaiting its survival!

Yay! I am growing my first inside plant—a Meyer lemon tree, which, if I remember right, I heard about here. It’s so exciting, and every day that it grows, I feel more surprised I haven’t killed it. These plantlings of yours are looking great, and the picture is FAB especially next to your header image.

Congratulations on your bouncing baby seedlings! Don’t forget to give them some fertilizer along with all that TLC. Compost or manure tea would be great if you can get your garden gloves on some. : )

Aww, they’re looking great! You make me want to try my hand at some green-thumb-type activities. Alas, I don’t know if my little babies would do as well as yours. I’m not sure I have the knack for gardening
