1 cup all-purpose flour

    This sounds gorgeous. I have piles of strawberries in my fridge at the moment. I’d like to try adding another fruit, maybe apples? The topping is like a sweet dumpling. I like to do a similar but savoury version for casseroles in winter.

    Such a perfect way to use berries. I love berry desserts but sometimes I feel like they get lost in the mix. This allows them to shine! I’ve got to pay more attention to that book!

    I may have to try this with the massive amounts of peaches our CSA keeps giving us, even this far into september. Ok, I saw the spiced peaches too, but shouldn’t I take it upon myself to combine the two concepts for total dessert annihilation? Or, even better, total BREAKFAST annihilation?
