I think this drink is so dreamy looking. I want to drink it while wearing a vintage dress and a sassy hairstyle. Alas, I tried making it a weekend or two ago with some Woodford Reserve, and WHAMMY! It was too much for me. Sigh, maybe I’ll work my way up one day.

Good one! Thinking about it, what would a Brooklyn be? A Staten Island might be a floater? That’d be a fun theme for a cocktail party, 5 borough — 5 cocktails.

I really love Manhattan’s when I am in the move for a strong drink where you can taste the alcohol. I used to order these in Italy all the time, but the Italian’s have such a funny way of pronouncing it – more like “man-AAAHT-in”. Have you tried a Negroni? It has a similar flavor profile.
