I’m taking a detour from my usual posts to talk about my dog Maude. Is she not the cutest little dog ever?! Dang it I love that little lady! I mean that face… those ears… she’s even got freckles on her chest! Anywho, enough gushing. Today she turns two (!!) and I just wanted to give you a little behind the scenes look at one of the things that inspires me. I hope you have a happy st. patrick’s day, and if you think about it, dedicate a toast to Maude.

I just had to leave a quick post to say that I already loved your site…I was hooked as soon as I saw the name, as those are my 3 favorite activities, and you certainly do them justice. And now I see that you are inspired by a delicious little boston too! Ours is named Raisin…and chest freckles are the BEST. Hers come out more when she’s wet. We call them her secret spots. Oh how sweet! I love Boston Terriers! I am biased however because I too, have a BT called Dexter. Maude is a great name for a female BT!
