Yahooo! It’s Friday again, and even better, its Friday before a long weekend. That’s certainly a time to celebrate. And then of course there’s the Fourth of July if you’re here in the good old US of A. I whipped up a little beverage with things I had at hand, rye, ginger ale and sour cherries. To be honest, the cherries didn’t add a whole lot of flavor, but you do get rewarded with drunken cherries once you’ve finished the drink. Still delicious in my book.
Cheers! Have a great weekend!

This drink looks delicious! Some friends and I are planning on having a ladies night next week; I wanted to make sangria, but might make this instead. Would dark rum be a good substitute for the rye? (not many liquors on hand + not a lot of $$ to spend on booze = substitutions when possible)
