Remedy Quarterly: Issue 2
It’s already time for Issue 2 of our little magazine Remedy Quarterly to hit the presses! Well, almost time. We has such an amazing response to Issue 1 when we posted it on kickstarter, we were really blown away. Since then we’ve been featured on all sorts of blogs (thank you!) and even in Readymade magazine. Issue 2’s theme is cravings and has an interview with blogger and pastry chef extraordinaire, David Lebovitz, a tasty story and recipe from Ashley English of Small Measure and all sorts of other great stories and recipes that will help fulfill your cravings.
You can help us kickstart Issue 2 by visiting our kickstarter page and pre-ordering an issue. If that’s not exciting enough, our super talented friend Erik Marinovich drew the amazing illustration above for one of our stories and you can order a limited edition print of his illustration. We’re super excited about this issue and can’t wait to send it out! Thanks again for all your support!

happy hour: i heart the remedy bag
I have to apologize, there isn’t a fancy cocktail today… happy hours have been a little more like a bottle of beer when we can sneak one in. Sometimes that’s just what the doctor ordered though. I do have a little something that makes me a super happy lady. My husband Aaron designed this bag for our magazine, Remedy Quarterly (it started out as a sketch for his blog) and I am majorly in love with it. It’s available to anywho who pledges $25+ over on kickstarter.
I hope you have a most excellent weekend full of good food and good times! Cheers!

happy hour: remedy quarterly
I’ve got big news to share about my little labor of love, Remedy Quarterly, a magazine filled with stories about food and recipes for feeling good. Yesterday we took a major step into making it a reality and posted Remedy on kickstarter. If you’re unfamiliar with kickstarter, it’s a site where you can post a project that needs funding and people can donate any amount of money to help you out, but if you don’t reach your goal in the specified time, you don’t get any of the money. If you’d like to help kickstart Remedy, we’ve got all sorts of goodies that you’ll get when you donate, like a discounted copy of the magazine, a super cute tote bag, hand-printed recipe cards and a whole lot more **sidenote, i totally feel like an npr dj right now**.
In addition to the whole kickstarter shebang, we also launched the accompanying website, www.rememdyquarterly.com, where you can submit your own remedies, browse our blog, and check in on the magazine’s progress.
So, cheers! To making an idea a reality, good food and a good weekend ahead of us!
